Nicolas is interested in how the built environment shapes people’s lives. He is a passionate urbanist focused on public-private collaboration in pursuit of more livable, equitable cities. A native San Antonian, he covets time in the Texas hill country.
With an urban design background and his experience in San Antonio, Nicolas brings fresh perspective and talent to the Overland team. He graduated from the University of Texas and Harvard and has practiced at home, in Argentina, and Rwanda to understand how local places persist in a global age. He periodically teaches and writes about the built environment.
When not in the office, Nicolas is outside with a chainsaw, in the shop with a chisel, or exploring a new neighborhood. Once upon a time, he made furniture in Austin, Texas.
