Rui Xiong

Rui’s architectural interests range from large urban scales to residential projects, and from exploring the history of architecture to using newly acquired skills and the latest software technology. Beginning his studies in Landscape Architecture, he changed his major and graduated from Chongqing University in China with a Bachelor of Architecture. While studying at University of California, Los Angeles for his M.Arch., Rui focused on the sustainability of paramount design. He brings a diverse experience from urban design projects in China to a small chapel in the forest in Korea.

Rui loves art, especially the East Asian Arts. When out of the office he enjoys playing guitar and badminton, as well as participating in some traditional East Asian activities such as Chinese calligraphy  and painting.
