The Episcopal School of Dallas transformed their community by uniting its Pre-K through 12th-grade students on a single site when there was previously 4 miles of separation. With Overland’s expertise, the new campus fosters academic rigor while nurturing the exuberance of childhood, embodying a holistic approach to learning. At the heart of the lower school campus lies an inviting entry plaza, featuring a three-story play structure that sparks imaginative learning experiences. Drawing inspiration from global models centered around play-based curriculum and progressive learning environments, the vertical design maximizes space efficiency in the school’s urban environment and captures the highest quality daylight while prioritizing safety and emotional well-being. The integrated lower and upper school campuses also facilitate cultural cohesion with initiatives such as mentorship programs. With flexible, forward-thinking spaces such as a mobile library and shared outdoor classrooms, as well as a commitment to empowering students, the Episcopal School of Dallas sets a new standard for elementary education in the 21st century.

Let’s shape future generations together.
