At Mayland, a resort development stands alongside the vision for New Communities, including the Artist Village, Mountain Town, Harbor Town, and Water Town. With distinct architectural identities and seamless access to neighboring districts using an interconnected green space strategy, all sectors contribute to the developer’s vision of a sustainable Eco Town.
OVERLAND’s master plan for Mayland Lake is an environmentally sustainable model bringing active community life to a previously underutilized and largely uninhabited region. The Master Plans prioritize walkable mixed-use neighborhoods, creating vibrant, connected communities with a high quality of life. Embracing green building practices and infrastructure, such as stormwater management, these developments aim to reduce environmental impact while enhancing resident well-being.
With implementation already underway and thriving businesses, Mayland sets the standard for environmentally conscious, livable communities offering river walk designs along the harbor front, a hilltop resort complex with a 400-room resort hotel and panoramic views as well as a spa, club, restaurants, galleries, conference facilities, premier golf course, and hike and bike trails around the lake, a school, numerous mixed-use spaces, and additional housing – all of which can be accessed via bicycle, bus, or electric vehicles. An arboretum featuring ancient trees of the region and a large organic farm operation enhance the quality of the natural environment further.
We want to plan for the future with you.
