Design & Concept

Intentionally designed to occupy a small footprint of the property, the Inn has been laid out to evoke a sense of space, a seamless integration into the surrounding environment. The lodging will be an unbundled group of buildings that delicately sit within the hillsides.

Set among the sweeping vistas of the Texas Hill Country, the Inn at Mirasol Springs will bring the boutique, luxury hotel experience that Auberge Resorts Collection is known for to the Hill Country evoking a sense of place and local-first philosophy unlike any other. The inn will feature approximately 71 guest rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and a variety of indoor and outdoor amenities that showcase the stunning landscape of the region. Our design approach aims to create a seamless and harmonious integration between the built environment and the natural surroundings, with the use of materials and strategies that prioritize sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Mirasol Springs is a place to embrace in a sensitive and environmentally responsible way, understanding it is a small piece of a larger ecosystem that must be restored and protected for the future. Steep hillsides and rocky cliffs flow into lower level prairie land, basked in the shadows and deep colors of the Texas Hill Country. The heartbeat of Mirasol Springs is the 15-acre area known as “the Farm,” which will include a spa, restaurant, and 1.5-acre agricultural plot where farming operations will take place. Strategically located at the center of the Inn, the Farm will educate visitors on the importance of sustainable farming. This area will also host the Activity Center where visitors can take advantage of farm activities, hike and bike trails, tree house exploration, access to the Pedernales River, and other outdoor activities.

Farming activities have already started in the plains where a garden has been established and a peach tree orchard is taking root. Beekeeping colonies have been placed for harvesting honey and taking advantage of natural pollination for the wildflower fields that have been restored. Further beyond, oak savannas give way toa slot canyon covered in bald cypress trees under hilltops and rolling plains.

The farm and orchard will produce year-round organic fruits and vegetables for the farm-to-table restaurant onsite. Through sustainable bio-intensive farming, the food will be grown using significantly less water than traditional farming practices, and requires no supplemental fertilizers or synthetic chemical pesticides.

Let’s create a place you will never forget.
