Located in the iconic Hemisfair Park near the northwest end of South Alamo and Market Streets, the 200-room Curio Collection by Hilton Hotel is a collaborative effort between the Hemisfair Park Area Redevelopment Corporation (HPARC) and Zachry Hospitality, promising to redefine luxury accommodation in the city just steps from key cultural assets including La Villita and The Alamo.
The terraced base of the seventeen-story hotel will feature ground floor retail activation, multiple upscale restaurants and food and beverage options, an exciting rooftop bar, and a garden with public art – all accessible to the public from the park at ground level. Sustainable design elements can be found in the native stone, lush vegetation and water features integrated throughout the design, reflecting the natural elements created by the Balcones Escarpment that runs through the region.
Positioned to maximize quintessential views of San Antonio, the curved tower will offer panoramic views of Hemisfair Park to the East and cityscapes to the West and North, including the Torch of Friendship sculpture and the River Walk. This landmark destination promises to elevate the San Antonio experience for both visitors and locals.
With the support of the city and HPARC, Overland Partners and Zachry Hospitality relish the opportunity to construct what will become a signature piece of architecture along San Antonio’s skyline while embracing and celebrating the cultural history and verdant attributes of the park.
